The Corbet Friends Association (CFA) is an organisation of parents and staff. Our role is to encourage closer links between home and school. Our fundraising events provide an opportunity for parents, staff and students to get together.
The Corbet Friends Association supports school by organising events and activities for pupils, their families and friends throughout the year. CFA events are an excellent way to bring together the whole school community, raise funds to help provide ‘extras’ for pupils and an opportunity for everyone to work together towards a common goal. Each year the CFA hold various fundraising events, including Christmas and Easter Bingo and an Adult quiz evening.
The fundraising initiatives greatly assist the school in funding many projects which might otherwise not be possible. In the past their fundraising has benefited the PE department, the Music department, the Library, Art department and SEN department.
At a time when all schools are affected by funding cuts, our school and pupils greatly benefit from the additional funds raised. The work of the CFA is more than ever! All parents can get involved even if they only have a small amount of time to offer. They look forward to welcoming new members and ideas.
