Our School Library is currently operating as a Classroom for Year 9 only but everyone still has access to our Library books.
We have an extensive range of fiction, non-fiction and reference titles and we are continuing to loan out Library books using our click-and-drop service.
Loans, a recap:
Each pupil has their own library account and may borrow up to three books at a time. The loan period for Library books is three weeks (longer during holidays). Library books must be returned through the letterbox under our Library noticeboard (next door to Student Support services).
In these unprecedented times, we are waiving fines on overdue Library books but a replacement fee may be charged for books which are lost or returned badly damaged.
These have been suspended for the time being but our Librarian Team is still going strong thanks to virtual training via Zoom
Bring on The Books (B.O.T.B) Library Newsletter:
At the beginning of 2020, Mrs. Brett and our Librarian Team began working on a new magazine, ‘Bring On The Books’. If you need book ideas, please look at our past issues which contain book reviews and recommendations. We continued to stock our Library with new titles during Lockdown and look forward to sharing these with pupils and of course, we always welcome recommendations. To contribute to our next edition (articles, photographs, artwork), please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
