TEACHER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Required for September 2022
The Corbet School is a “Very Good” rural 11-16 comprehensive with outstanding behaviour and consistently high results. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic classroom teacher of Religious Education from 1st September 2022. The successful candidate must be able to teach Religious Education to KS3 and KS4, and the ability to teach History and Geography at KS3 would be desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, progressive and excellent Humanities department. Humanities is taught as distinct subjects at KS3 and is highly popular in option subjects at KS4.
The post would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT.
The successful candidate would also be required to become a Form Tutor and be actively involved in the teaching of Personal, Social and Health Education.

Trainee Science Technician
Grade 4 – Scale Point 4 – £9.99 per hour
30 Hours pw (Monday – Friday) – 9.30am – 4.00pm
Term Time + 5 PD Days
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join the Science department, at our very successful rural school.
If you would like to work in a friendly environment and have a desire to help colleagues and pupils this could be the job for you.
The role will include preparing equipment and materials, delivering and setting up rooms, ready for lessons to take place, and clearing away afterwards.
Training will be provided by the teaching team, and the Senior Technician who will work with you daily, in our recently refurbished modern laboratories.
A good academic background will be helpful, however good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work as part of a team are essential.
