Throughout your time here at The Corbet School you will participate in a range of events and activities which will focus on your important next steps after GCSE study, alongside your learning in PSHEE and wider curriculum subjects.
Your fundamental careers education will take place during your timetabled Life Skills and PSHEE lessons and Focus Days.
Our careers programme has been designed to cover the wide variety of topics needed, however, if there is a particular occupation or post-16 path you would like to know more about, please do reach out and we’ll aim to get an event or activity slotted in.
Within the ‘Careers Links’ section of this website, you’ll see a number of signposts to many organisations and providers – please do scout around and delve into them. If you’d like to know more about careers and opportunities, get in touch with Mrs Squire in Room 8, or by emailing careers@corbetschool.net.
During your time at the Corbet School, you will have a one-to-one appointment with our Careers Advisor, Emma Linney. This is a chance for you to discuss your future with a qualified and knowledgeable member of staff. If you would like to have your careers appointment soon, please speak to Miss Wilson (Careers Administrator) and she can prioritise you.
