Where pupils want to learn to sing or play an instrument The Corbet School seeks to find suitably qualified tutors to support a programme that provides a wide choice at an affordable price. This is achieved by securing the services of a variety of excellent tutors available through the Shropshire Music Service, Music Heroes and on an independent basis.
Instrumental and singing tutors come to teach in the music department on a weekly basis. Pupils attend these lessons during the school day on a rotating timetable ensuring they do not miss the same academic lessons on a regular basis. Pupils are encouraged to become more independent and are responsible for checking the timetables regularly to attend the correct time.
Music lessons at The Corbet School are an optional activity and we offer a range of different lesson options for various prices. Independent tutors, Shropshire Music Service and Music Heroes set their own Terms and Conditions and pricing structure.

Please familiar yourselves with the different services available and the different price options available. For existing lessons please complete the forms form provided. If your child is coming to us in September 2024 and would like to start lessons, please also complete the forms form provided.
