Pupil Drop off/pick up & Library Safe Haven
Dear Parents/Carers,
The car parking places at the front of our school are bookable spaces for staff and school visitors only, so we ask that parents do not enter this area to drop off or pick up their child/children from school. This creates issues with cars blocking the entrance for those who have booked the spaces, and we want to also safeguard our children from cars maneuvering.
Also, the school has a supervised safe space in the library for children who are collected late/dropped off early so that parents can get to and from work or for those children who travel on the public buses. If your child lives locally they should go straight home from school and not be attending the library. Children in the library can do homework, play board games quietly or read books but they are not allowed to use there phones in this space. The morning space is available from 8am until 8.30am Monday to Friday and 3.20pm to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3.20pm to 4pm on a Friday, so please ensure you drop off and collect within these times. Please understand this is not a before/after school club just a safe space and we expect a small number of pupils to attend.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Kind regards,
The Corbet School
